About Axiom Strategy

We Assess Before We Advise. Always.

Axiom Strategy is an assessment-first AI Intelligence firm. We identify governance gaps, visibility leakage, and readiness barriers across your organisation's AI position — before any recommendation is made, and before any implementation begins. Nothing is recommended until the evidence is in.

The Origin Story

Why Axiom Exists

The AI conversation has been dominated by vendors selling tools and consultancies selling transformation programmes. Both carry the same conflict of interest — they profit from action, not from accuracy.

Axiom was built by two people who had seen that conflict play out from opposite ends of the table.

Amer Naveed spent three decades in financial consulting and M&A advisory — disciplines where the integrity of an assessment determines whether a deal succeeds or fails. In due diligence, you do not accept a vendor's word about their own asset. You verify independently. You quantify risk. You follow the evidence, not the narrative. That rigour does not disappear when the asset being assessed is an organisation's AI position.

Ahmad Shah's background is in physical therapy and healthcare diagnostics — disciplines built on a different but identical principle. Before you treat a patient, you assess them. You gather data across multiple independent systems. You triangulate findings. You do not guess. You do not act on assumptions. You measure.

Two disciplines. One methodology. Axiom was built on the conviction that organisations deserve the same standard of independent, evidence-based assessment in AI that they expect in financial due diligence and clinical practice.

Two disciplines. One methodology. We assess first. We advise based on evidence. We never recommend building until we know exactly what is needed.
What We Assess

Three Questions. One Methodology.

Every Axiom engagement begins with one or more of the following questions. Together, they form a complete picture of an organisation's AI position — across governance, external identity, and internal readiness.

Governance

Does your organisation have rules governing how AI is used — and do they hold?

Before any organisation deploys AI, it needs to establish who owns accountability, what data AI systems can access, how risk is classified, and what happens when something goes wrong. For organisations that have already deployed AI, those rules need to be tested against operational reality — not taken on trust. A policy that contradicts what is actually happening is worse than no policy. It creates false confidence and documents the organisation failing to follow its own rules.

External

Does the AI ecosystem know your organisation exists — and what does it say?

When a potential client, investor, or regulator asks an AI system about your industry or your organisation — do you appear? Are you represented accurately? Are you recommended — or is a competitor recommended instead? AI systems do not just retrieve facts. They form narratives. The perception your organisation carries inside these systems shapes how you are described, recommended, and positioned — to audiences you will never directly reach.

Internal

Is your organisation genuinely ready for AI?

Readiness is not enthusiasm. It is not a budget line. It is the structural, cultural, and technical capacity of an organisation to adopt AI, operate it responsibly, and extract measurable value from it. Most organisations that invest in AI before assessing their readiness do not fail because the technology is wrong. They fail because the organisation was not ready for it.

These three dimensions are answered through Axiom's Intelligence Suite — three structured assessment categories: the Artificial Intelligence Governance Assessment (AIGA), the Artificial Intelligence Identity Assessment (AIIA — comprising the AIPA, DTSH, and OPI), and the AI Readiness Assessment (AIRA). Each is a standalone engagement. Together, they constitute a complete AI intelligence picture.

Assessment-First Practice

Assessment Without Agenda

Axiom's core business is delivering impartial, data-backed, third-party assessments. We identify governance gaps, visibility leakage, and readiness barriers with precision — and we deliver a clear roadmap and strategy so the client knows exactly what needs to be done and in what order.

We assess first, always. The roadmap Axiom produces is designed to be executed — whether by the client's own team, through Axiom's vetted partner network under Axiom oversight, or by a third-party implementer of the client's choosing. What we will never do is lead with implementation before the assessment is complete. That sequencing is not a policy. It is the only responsible way to operate.

It is also what makes an Axiom assessment defensible in a boardroom, a due diligence process, or a regulatory review — because our findings are never shaped by what we intend to sell next.

The Team

The People Behind the Methodology

Axiom's assessments are designed, delivered, and validated by practitioners who have operated at the highest levels of financial consulting, AI engineering, business transformation, and organisational strategy. The most accurate assessment of an organisation's AI position comes from people who have built, implemented, and advised on AI and business systems in the real world.

Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
CMA | CFM | 30+ Years in Financial Consulting, M&A Advisory, Business Strategy & Operations

Amer brings three decades of financial consulting, mergers and acquisitions advisory, and business operations experience to Axiom's assessment practice. His background means Axiom's findings are not abstract — they are translated into defensible financial and operational terms that CFOs, boards, and investment committees can act on. The rigour Amer applies to an AI assessment is the same rigour applied in financial due diligence: systematic, evidence-based, and accountable. Amer leads client relationships and oversees assessment delivery across all markets.

Chief Strategy Officer & Chief Operating Officer (CSO | COO)
Co-Founder | Methodology Architect | Background in Physical Therapy & Healthcare Diagnostics

Ahmad's professional background is in physical therapy and healthcare — disciplines built on structured assessment, systematic observation, and evidence-based conclusions. That epistemological foundation is the architecture of Axiom's methodology. Every Axiom assessment follows the same logic as clinical diagnostics: gather data across multiple independent systems, triangulate findings, draw defensible conclusions, and never act on assumptions. Ahmad leads methodology design, product development, strategic direction, and day-to-day operations across all Axiom assessments.

FDE & AI/ML Engineer
MSc Data Science (AI & Computational Modelling) — University of Canberra | UC High Achievers Scholarship | Dean's Excellence Award 2026 | BSc (Hons) Economics, Business & Law — University of Buckingham | Course in Public Policy Economics — University of Oxford

Suha leads Axiom's technical intelligence function from Australia. Her role is grounded in a principle central to Axiom's methodology: you cannot accurately assess what you do not understand how to build. With three years of experience architecting and deploying production AI systems across IoT intelligence, multi-agent automation, computer vision, and LLM-powered applications — and advisory experience for enterprise clients including Savills and the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia — Suha ensures every Axiom assessment is technically defensible, not theoretically derived. Her background in delivering full-lifecycle AI products means Axiom's findings reflect real architectural realities, not vendor literature.

Executive Director
FCA-ICAP | FPFA-PIPFA | Analysis, Reporting, Budgeting, Controls & ERP | 15+ Years Experience | Ex-Nexia | QCR Reviewer

Waqar brings deep financial and operational expertise to Axiom's assessment practice. His background spans financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, controls, and ERP systems across complex organisations — including senior roles at Nexia and quality control review responsibilities. That operational granularity is precisely what allows Axiom to identify gaps and bottlenecks that surface-level reviews consistently miss.

S

Syed Bilal Haider

Pakistan
Executive Director
AI-Led People, Process, Digital & Cost Transformation | Strategy Execution Leader | 25 Years International Experience

Bilal brings 25 years of international experience in AI-led transformation, process optimisation, and strategy execution to Axiom's assessment practice. Organisations that have lived through transformation programmes — successful and failed — understand what readiness actually means. Bilal's experience on the delivery side is what makes Axiom's AI Readiness Assessment so precise: he knows exactly where organisations underestimate what AI adoption requires, and exactly what an assessment must surface before any strategy is executed.
